I Thought Tarot Was BS. Then They Mentioned Quantum Mechanics & AI.

Alright, real talk.

Like most of you, I’ve always put tarot cards and all that “magic” stuff in the same box as healing crystals and horoscopes: entertaining, but basically BS. My world is APIs, build scripts, and Friday deploys.

That was until a couple of fellow vibe coders, just like me, hit me up for help on a project—we’re the kind of devs who live and breathe the world of large LLMs. I was ready to pass, but then they pitched me their angle: Tarot, but explained through the lens of quantum mechanics.

The concept wasn’t about fortune-telling. It was treating a tarot spread as a quantum system. You have a set of probabilities (the deck), and the act of observation (asking a question, drawing the cards) collapses those probabilities into a single, tangible outcome. It was such a wild “what if” concept that I couldn’t say no. I was in.

We decided to wrap this idea in a proper tech package. We’re using a modern stack to power the experience and, under the hood, hooking it up to some of the most advanced AI on the planet. This ensures the interpretations are more than just generic keywords—we’re aiming for deep, coherent insights that actually make you think.

The project, Q-Tarot, is in its final stages. We’re looking for some early users to jump in, test it out, and give us some raw feedback. If the idea of mixing ancient mysticism with modern tech sounds even remotely interesting, check out what we’re building.

Let us know what you think.

Peace out & happy coding.
